Ceramic bearing:
1.Ceramic Bearings have two types of ceramic bearing, hybrid ceramic bearing and full ceramic bearing.The hybrid ceramic bearing
has steel inner and outer rings with ceramic balls.
2.Ceramic Bearings, Si3N4 stands for the silicon nitride ceramic material and is black colored,
3.Ceramic Bearings, SiC stands for the silicon carbide material and is alsoblack colored.
4.Ceramic Bearings, ZrO2 stands for the zirconium dioxide, also known as zirconia or zirconium oxide, they are white colored, a ZrO2 ball looks exactly like a pearl.
5.The ceramic material is not stronger than steel, but ceramic bearing are lighter and have lower friction than steel, which makes ceramic bearing go faster with lower heat generated.
Application:
1. Ceramic bearing has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, cold resistance, abrasion resistance, corrosion
resistance and insulation, and can be used in extremely bad environment and special conditions.
2. Ceramic bearings can be widely used in aviation, spaceflight, navigation, petroleum, chemical industry, automobile,
electronics, metallurgical, power, textile, pumps, medical equipment and scientific research.

Miniature ball bearings are deep groove ball bearings in small. Their dimensions make them suitable for special applications. In addition, they allow very high speeds with low noise.

Versions of miniature ball bearings

  • Single row

  • Main dimensions according to DIN 625-1. Inside diameter below 10 mm. Economical "all-round bearing". Versatile.

  • Miniature flanged housing units

  • Full complement ball set

Material description of miniature ball bearings

  • Miniature ball bearings made of rolling bearing steel

  • are extremely economical, withstand extremely high load-ratings and are suitable for temperatures from circa -10°C up to +120°C, in case of rubber seals up to circa +100°C in the long run. The rolling bearing steel is wear-resistant, shock-resistant, conductive and magnetic.

  • Miniature ball bearings made of stainless steel

  • are hygienic, corrosion-resistant, lubricated with grease for the food industry, offer high load-ratings, magnetic and are admissible for a temperature range from circa -20°C up to +120°C, in case of rubber seals up to circa +100°C in the long run.

  • Hybrid bearings with ceramic balls and rings made of stainless steel or rolling bearing steel

  • are subject to a lesser wear and tear compared to bearings of similar size with steel balls. The ceramic balls are current insulating - optimally for use in engines and generators. Hybrid bearings are lighter than bearings with steel balls of the same size, withstand higher speeds and operate in a temperature range from circa -20°C up to +130°C, in case of rubber seals up to circa +100°C in the long run. Hybrid bearings are magnetic.

  • Miniature ball bearings made of ceramic

  • are extremely wear-resistant by their great hardness, corrosion-resistant and durable. They have good emergency running characteristics, are lighter than steel bearings of the same size, suitable for dry run, current insulating, non-magnetic, withstand extremely high speeds. Bearinngs with cages made of PTFE operate up to a temperature of circa +160°C, bearings with cages made of PEEK up to a temperature of circa +160°C.
